we highest risk of seeing the storms from providence to scituate. this is the best chance for very heavy rain. there's a chance in southeast mass but a lower risk. sometimes it comes down to probabilities. more of the heavy downpours will be moving across, and eventually, we head to wednesday morning. the first batch of rain in the morning. and the highest is north and west of and we have storms likely. and we could have torrential rainfall and an isolated tornado. people get worked up about that. we'll have to keep an eye on that situation into the afternoon. so something to let you know about. and localized street flooding because rain rates could be 1 to 2 inches per hour in any of the storms. localized flash flooding and downpours and damaging wind with the storms and there's a tornado morning. we'll be keeping tabs on all the elements. june, july, and august, only 3 inches of rainfall. we're on pace for the driest summer on record. we'll see how things pan out. community will be on the rise, especially late tomorrow. and very tropical tuesday n

check out this photo from bob down in scituate. good-looking sky at the coastline. a little bit of red and orange in the sky for many photos coming in on twitter, and that is thanks to some mid to high-level clouds that have worked in from the west. good-looking start to the day and good-looking feel to the day, as well. as the numbers back down into the upper 50s and lower 60s. 70 in the city of bosto we have tracked a couple sprinkles and lying showers west across sturbridge or just west of sturbridge now back through south brink and down toward mansfield, connecticut. a couple sprinkles trying to enter rhode island. if you take a trend here, you may catch a light shower near the mass pike and south of the pike from about 7:00 until 9:00, once in a while. but i don't expect a lot of water out of it. in fact, much of the day is dry. so if you have beach plans this afternoon, go for it. no problems out there. clouds, temperatures running into the 80s. same case on friday into the weekend. most of new england should feature more dry weather than anything else. shower
