we just wrapped up a press conference with the gilroy police, and i asked police chief scot smithee if it is possible the victims were hit by police gunfire, and he says that was certainly a big concern for him, but there is nothing in the investigation so far that leads him to believe officers' bullets hit the victims. i also asked the fbi agent in charge if he thought that the gunman may have been targeting minorities. he said so far in this investigation there is no evidence of that. and as raj mentioned, we've also learned that right now police do not believe that there was a second suspect. and the reason they say that is because apparently this gunman had gone shopping at several stores here in gilroy, including big box stores, and all of that surveillance video indicates that he was alone at the time and that was right before the shooting. so that's what we learned so far. we've also learned that there was a bag with ammunition found in the creek near the festival. that is a new discovery made by police. reporting live in gilroy, marianne favro. back to you, raj. >> reporter: ma
