scott walker going bye-bye in three, two, one. gone. scott walker poofed. scott walker being out of the race. i maintain tells us very little about who is likely to be the republican nominee for president of the united states of america. it is likely to have zero effect on the top-tier contenders. because he had less than 1/2 of one percentage point support in nationwide polls. the more pressing question it raises is who's likely to be the next candidate at the bottom of the list to drop out? because in that latest cnn national poll with that devastatingly low result of support for scott walker he is tied at that devastatingly low level of support with four other candidates. he's tied in the cnn poll below 1%, at the very bottom of measurable support, he's tied with george pataki and lindsey graham and bobby jindal and jim gilmore. how long are those guys going to stay in the race? in the latest iowa poll, the ppp iowa poll that is just out today, scott walker was polling at 5%. which is a disaster for somebody who's whole presidential cane depends on them

"new york times" reporting scott walker may be out of the race. a lot of people have been talking for weeks about his standing and whether it was becoming harder for him to raise money. what do you know? >> i think it's very likely. big donors are saying that his performance in the debate and his performance overall has just been singularly unimpressive. he had advantages early on in neighboring iowa but has blown those chances and he has also not made a mark. i was just talking to some leading republicans recently. remember when scott walker said that he would build a wall between wisconsin and canada, which was i guess trying to outtrump trump and the mexican wall? well, the border between business which is and canada is right down the middle of lake superior. so, that created a lot of hilarity in two countries, actually, but certainly among republican donors. he just has not added up as an effective candidate. and so i will be calling sources to try to match that "new york times" report. >> in a few minutes. let you get off the air and make pho

according to a scott walker advisor.in the middle of organizing a huge bundler event for walker in a couple of weeks. another donor said he had just left a voice mail message for scott walker on friday with advice how to improve his campaign. that message went unreturned. "it's the first time he hasn't called me back." another big-time scott walker doaner who had recently hosted and i reception for governor walker says he felt similarly ignored.
