president's favorite adviser stepping down as he himself is retweeting, what does a departure of scott atlas mean? >> i think for many of the public health officials who serve on the task force and have since february and march, the news of doctor atlas's resignation will be welcome. he has been quite a controversial distraction from actually the issue at hand which is to get americans the most factual and stressing the most important things to do in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. people like dr. deborah birx and dr. anthony fauci who expressed their concerns about working with dr. atlas several months ago which actually led him now not to be invited to any of the recent task force meetings that have happened since late september. they thought his controversial input, when he would say things like questioning the efficacy of wearing face masks or when he falsely said that children could not spread the virus or when he raised potential benefits of herd immunity, which is an incredibly dangerous way of trying to contain a pandemic like this one, doctors birx and dr. fauci said we cannot
