governments of china, canada, and mexico pay for the tariffs and in fact, his treasury secretary scott bassett. just came out and said the china will absorb the cost. that is not what we've seen in the past when donald trump did this in his 1st term. important point out in his 1st or term, inflation was not on anyone's radar. it is a huge concern to american consumers in fact, and exit polls. a lot of voters said that the reason they vote for donald trump was because he was going to and he promised to reduce the price of groceries and gas. so this is, according to pretty much every economist except a small faction. this is going to increase every day costs on american consumers. because in, for people who import these products, they have to pay customs officials when it crosses the border. so that's gonna have a huge impact on consumers. and now the retaliatory tariffs and we're seeing china again, we saw this in the 1st term. they're going after us agriculture, us farmers. that's their biggest market. i think 17 percent of their market goes to china. the last time we saw this, donald trump's
