abc's scott goldberg is joining us now with more on this ongoing story. tain says he acted honorably, but these recorded phone conversations between the captain and the italian coast guard suggest that was not the case. as the giant cruise ship was listing and more than 4,200 people on board scrambled to save their own lives, captain francesco schettino was sitting safely in a rescue boat. at least that's how it sounds in these recorded phone calls. an italian coast guard official says, "you go on board the ship and you tell me if there are children, women or people that need assistance. look, schettino, you may have saved yourself from the sea but i will put you through a lot of trouble. it will be very bad for you. get back on board." at a preliminary court hearing prosecutors accused schettino of manslaughter, causing a shipwreck and then abandoning crew members and passengers after he deliberately steered the ship off course. >> he's a coward. i mean, we're fighting for our lives and he's more concerned about himself. >> he's supposed to go down with t
