the news four i-team's scott macfarlane revealed a series of suicides inside the city's jail in 2013. he joins us with the latest fallout. >> reporter: jim, good evening he was one of four inmates who killed himself inside a d.c. jail in 2013 and his name was paul menina. he was arrested for attacking and allegedly breaking the facial bones of a female colleague at her home on chesapeake street in northwest d.c. shortly after his arrest menina killed himself in his d.c. jail cell with a razor blade. and a lawsuit just filed in d.c. federal court, his widow says the city and its jail are liable for wrongful death for allegedly allowing menina to get access to the razor blarkd not doing more to protect him from a precarious mental state and he made statements indicating he was unstable and a risk for suicide. including after a court hearing and in the wake of that suicide, the i-team uncovered agency e-mails showing the jail immediately ordered a series of changes, including reducing the number of raisers available and removal of items from balls that could be used for inmates to hang t

tonight, only on news4 scott macfarlane learned two more local school systems are getting set to cut back on how many test these give students. >> reporter: prince george's county schools next school year will be cutting reading and math exams given each year between third and 12th grade and district officials tell us they will cut more tests in the coming months. frederick county public schools considering the same, decide building to eliminate some of their local tests. both districts tell us they are concerned, when you add up all the local, state and federally required exams teachers are losing too much actual teaching time. bun private review shared with news4 from a group called fair coast, a non-profit that measured these things, said school kids in our area are now taking 113 standardized tests, especially kindergarten and 12th grade. no timetable yet for frederick county's decision, but montgomery schools this week said they will consider eliminating end of semester tests, too. montgomery one of the most closely watched high achieving districts in the nation could very well

as the i-team's scott macfarlane reports, this is the series of men convicted of sexually touching other passengers on flights. >> reporter: there have been several cases of sexual assaults aboard flights into dulles and reagan national in recent months including one in just the past few months much the fbi's washington field office told us about today that the man convicted in the case out of california is a catholic priest. he touched a fellow passenger's buttocks, breast and group. the passenger was asleep went assault began. the woman woke up to find the priest's hands on her body. in 2013, the fbi investigated a man for molesting a 15-year-old girl on a play enroute to dulles and feds say these cases are a big challenge because the victims and witnesses are often strangers strangers who quickly leave the scene. >> if we don't find our witnesses or our victims or our suspects now an hour from now, they will literally be at the four corners of the earth. >> the i-team's investigation into these air assaults found another problem, no federal agency is keeping count keeping track of how

as our scott macfarlane reports. >> reporter: jim, good evening. the feds say there are no cameras recording the activity along either the bw parkway or the george washington parkway. and maryland state leaders last year issued an internal memo obtained by the i-team saying they were concerned about it too. that the lack of cameras limited their response to incidents north of the beltway on the bw parkway. state officials tell the news4 i-team new cameras are coming. at least six of them on the baltimore washington parkway by january 9th that will likely cost about $500,000. the state highway administration cautions these are not police cameras. they will not record video zoom in on accidents or incidents. but the images from those cameras will be shared with police as they investigate incidents. the cameras' primary function is to help move traffic. but in a new statement by news4 late today, the national park service says it's exploring the possibility of new cameras on both parkways as part of a broader safety effort. wendy? >>> there is some da
