scott macfarlane has the latest with the fallout from his report. >> reporter: there is a fast rising number of threats against federal workers including the tens and thousands of here in d.c. we found a security e-mail which expressed cons idling outside trump hotel which is steps away from irs headquarters. members of the u.s. house oversight committee read excerpts and asked that action be taken to ensure that the workers are safe. >> when something really serious happens, whether or not there ought not be an investigation of what is a very unusual number of threats against federal employees. >> it's a very important and timely question and, in fact, we are currently working with the internal revenue services division on that very issue. i don't know whether we'll be able to report publicly because we don't want to endanger the lives of high-risk employees or other workers. >> the irs declined to speak on camera but told us it works well with trump hotel security that monitors security at its e-mail we referenced is from last year and doesn't reflect the current situation. jim? >>

. >> news 4's scott macfarlane looks at how people try to get around the law. scott? >> pat and leon, any time somebody brings a gun into a casino state officials must be notified. records from the game and lottery agency show 36 incidents involving firearms in md mtd casinos since they first opened in 2010. that includes gamblers stopped while carrying. eight people didn't have permits to carry the guns. two were said to be suicidal and there have been reports -- no reports of shootings inside local casinos, but there have been seven reports of people carrying a firearm or claiming to, robbing another customer at a maryland casino. casinos employ on-site security, they have on-te control agency to help protect customers. and local police departments including prince george's say they are equipped and staffed to respond to major incidents including a shooting. back to you. >> thank you, scott. the case s have to do with everything from gay marriage to gambling, a busy day for the supreme court. chris lawrence is here with a look at the big cases on the docket. >> the

. >> investigative reporter scott macfarlane has a story you'll only see on news4.hy is this not happening in d.c.? >> it's happening for years in other states. in fact, it's happened for decades in other states but it's still not happening in officials tell us they are a year or two away from this. when those teachers admit misconduct and when it comes to keeping our kids safe, license revocation is important. you're added to a national database that flags the nation that you've admitted to misconduct. you'll see some recent notorious cases in misconduct in the district and those teachers are, in fact, eligible to return to the classroom. what's more, they may be an indication, wendy and leon, that there are many more teachers who engaged in lower levels of misconduct who are already there, already back teaching our kids. >> so what are they going to do about this? >> d.c.'s office department of education, the regulators who oversee d.c. public schools, they say they are trying to finalize this situation and they are still a year or two away from finishing it up bu

as scott macfarlane reports now, a new report from congress says civil servants are far more vulnerable than they should be. scott? >> doreen, that's right. here it is, a new year long investigation completed by the u.s. house oversight committee. it says several federal agencies have no specified penalties for sexual harassment which raises the risk some workers can escape without punishment. that includes the office fs personnel management which is actually overseeing government employees. the congressional committees report also highlighted a february investigation by the news 4 i-team. it found more than 100 cases of federal workers watching egregious amounts of pornography wh that's just a handful of federal agencies. the congressional report says the i-team's findings are proof current policies governing sexually inappropriate behavior are ineffective. the u.s. house oversight committee says the u.s. government and its dozens of agencies should have but do not have one single definition of what constitutes sexually inappropriate behavior. some agencies include that sexual jokes or
