cbs' scott macfarlane is here. all right, scott, what are the key race you're watching?ttom line-- 10 battleground state upon which balance of power in the u.s. senate hinges. hour are toss-ups, four controlled by the democrats now, from nevada to new hampshire. two controlled by republicans, pennsylvania and wisconsin. so much comes with control of the u.s. senate, such an impact on the biden administration from confirmation of federal judges to new law, even abortion rights. in the u.s. house, a little bit of a wider battleground. but still narrow, just 36 democratic seats, 12 republicans, all 435 members of the house are on the ballot. republicans need to net just five to get control. back here at the senate, it's worth underscoring with 24 million-plus mail-in ballot, it may be days until we get some results, including from the state of arizona, and the commonwealth of pennsylvania. it's more like election week than just election night. >> o'donnell: just because the process is slow does not mean that it is broken. >> reporter: still safe, still secure. >> o'donnell:
