scott mcfarland with a look at the iteam's biggest reports. >> reporter: it's a story that the news 4am reported on for more than three years and started with an open records request to a state agency asking about day. and we obtained mortality record from the washington, d.c., area. we found more than 160 horses euthanized over three years at one alocal race track. days after our reporting, west virginia state officials reported new safety reviews at charleston races. the agency tells us the tracks have since submitted the necessary paperwork and on-site visits by the inspectors who are expected in the coming months. the track told the iteam it already exceeds the safety requirements. after getting a tip from the federal employee, the iteam submitted a freedom of information act request to 12 government agencies asking for closed cases involving computer reviews b the most egregious cases, including one man who admitted watching porn to work two to six hours a day. >> the penalties for using government property vary from agency to agency. >> reporter: less than two weeks after we air
