. >> scott mcgrew, a setback for the white house. >> possibly for peace, as well. good morning. the president tweeted out this mess and. take a look. i have asked secretary of state mike pompeo not to go to north korea at this time because i feel we are not making sufficient progress with respect to the denuclearization of the korean peninsula. you will remember the president met with kim june 12th in singapore. there was concern he came away with no definitive agreement, nothing on paper other than an agreement to agree. not even a definition of denuclearization means. now, in that tweet, the president then went on to speculate that north korea might be failing to make progress because it no longer feels pressured by china. and the reason china's not pressuring north korea is because china is angry about the trade tariffs against the country put there by president trump. we'll continue to monitor this, but again, there's been a setback in the talks with north korea. our secretary of state will not travel there because our president says north korea hasn't made enough progress.
