but scott mcgrew says that actually, the markets themselves promise to be a big day in business tomorrowget the big jobs report tomorrow with the december jobs report. a few days ago, data showing a growing number of open positions in american companies that tends compete for employees. also tomorrow, the u.s. supreme court will hear emergency arguments over the ban on tiktok. tiktok is set to be removed from app stores a week from sunday. its parent company, bytedance, will try to argue that ban is a violation of american free speech. american lawmakers worry that china is using tiktok to spy on americans. lawyers filed their final briefs with the court this morning. do keep in mind as we listen to arguments before the high court tomorrow. no one has actually publicly proven tiktok spies on americans. and no more restrictions or more restrictions on the number of powerful nvidia ai chips that can be sold overseas, even to friendly countries. bloomberg, the first to report that full allies like canada, australia and most of europe can still buy all they want and google the latest company

let's turn to scott mcgrew.states of america will soon have a felon in the white house for the very first time. undeniably, that is exactly what's happening. it's really kris exactly the label that donald trump was trying to avoid. felon. even making a last minute appeal to the supreme court. so to remind you, this is the hush money case involving that adult film actress trump found guilty by a jury of 34 counts. and today was sentencing. the president elect appeared over zoom from his home in florida. the judge in the case has issued an unconditional discharge, meaning trump is guilty, but there will be no further action taken. here is trump once again saying he didn't commit the crime. the jury found him guilty of. it's audio only. it's been a politicacal witch hunt. it was done to damage my reputation so that i would lose the election. and obviously that didn't work. and the people of our country got to see this firsthand because they watched the case in your courtroom. they got to see this firsthand. and the

a new app has risen to the top of the chart on apple's app store, and scott mcgrew says read note.ok. yeah, red note shows you short videos just like tiktok and just like tiktok, it's chinese owned. the difference is red note's makers really never expected americans to use it. most of the instructions and interface are in mandarin. it's overnight. success seems to be a bit of a smart aleck move by tiktok fans. users saying, if you don't want us to use tiktok because it's chinese, well, we'll just use a different chinese app. the ban on tiktok comes on sunday. the app's parent company, bytedance, has until then to either find an american buyer or lose access to google and apple app stores. bloomberg reports this morning that bytedance has at least talked about the idea of selling it tiktok to elon musk, but bloomberg says chinese executives would rather let the ban take effect than cave to american rules. or they may be counting on donald trump to save tiktok. trump can't reverse the ban single handedly. it's part of a law passed by congress, but he could put pressure on the republi

scott mcgrew is here this morning. and scott jack smith's says that he would have been able to get a guilty verdict for sure. yeah, and it was only that donald trump ran for office and won. that stopped him. now that's the special counsel's opinion. but he backs up that claim with more than 130 pages of evidence and testimony. the case against trump will not go forward. there was a separate investigation by smith into trump taking classified documents out of the white house. that report will not be released because it's still an active investigation into two other people. trump's aides at mar-a-lago. the report, released last night, says the prosecution was certain it would prevail had trump not run for reelection. there's nothing shockingly new in it. trump's attempts to overturn the election were pretty public and obvious sometimes on tv, like encouraging his supporters to march tohe capitol, sometimes caught on tape in the case of him pressuring georgia officials to find thousands of new votes. trump, for his part, r
