sanchez. >> and i'm scott mcgrew. we have live team coverage of the storm that rolled through the bay area. but obviously, we're going to begin with meteorologist christina loren. good morning to you. >> good morning, exalt and scott and kris. take a look at these whopper totals just about everybody picking up over an inch of rainfall. over an inch and a quarter in napa and south bay. even down here. over an inch for oakland. over an inch for belmont. and inch and three tenths and two inches in santa cruz. we need this rain obviously. we're in the heart of a drought and every single drop counts. at this point, heavy activity but we are watching strong thunderstorms especially off the north bay. we're going to see this activity as the core of low pressure starts to make its way across the bay area. go to the north bay mountains as well. and up and down the peninsula, we will be watching for that. you now, here's something that we haven't seen in over a year's time. i'm talking about snow on top of mount hamilton. we'll
