today san francisco state senator scott wiener introduced a bill to make it easier for breweries andineries to conserve. he says many of the businesses are interested in water recycling, but california doesn't have clear guidelines. this new bill would set up a system of rules and standards for reusing not only in the brewing and wine making process, but also for cleaning tanks and other equipment. a hearing on this bill is expected in the next few months. >>> okay. a lot of the visitors to a north bay beach thanks in part to the government shutdown. not what you think, though. drake's beach overtaken by elephant seals. point reyes national seashore has reopened to visitors after frid do end the government shutdown, but much can't be use. drakes beach is covered with more than 50 elephant seals and more than sea don't come this far inland, but during the shutdown there was nothing to deter them. rangers say it's not unusual foo show up, but this many is rare. >> we had some experts out today looking at the situation. so we're trying to make some decisions this week as to what we migh
