chief meteorologist scott williams is focusing on that ice that's to come and let's start with meteorologist kathy orr for a look at what's happening right now. >> iain, outside our weather window we're looking at reduced visible at the airport. you can see there are some cars going by here some trucks shut link back and forth but visibility is reduced. we still see the snow falling in many locations. there are many airport delays as well. in philadelphia, 86 minute delay jfk an hour and over two hours in newark airport. so we're seeing a little bit of a mix moving in. but still on-going delays at the airport. one of the reasons visibility. improved at 2 miles right now but half mile visibility in allentown. that's where we see some of heavier precipitation mount pocono down to quarter mile visibility and even half mile visibility in lancaster as we see that warmer airlift up and over that snow pack tonight, fog will be an issue especially north and west. you can see the warmer air trying to push n down the shore, we finally have rain and this warmth will continue to push towards philadelphi

let's check in with chief meteorologist scott williams. >> that's certainly right. yesterday, iain, we had time temperatures in the mid 60s and temperatures have been steadily dropping throughout the day. let's focus in on that confirmed tornado the national weather service was out there kind of assessing the damage. and confirm it to be an ef-two tornado very rare winter february tornado. max winds between 120 and 125 miles per hour and take a look at how wide it was. 400 yards wide. it was on the ground forearm 5 miles in the sal bury township area. definitely causing a lot of damage there. take a look at last night's squall line. we were talking about the potential for damaging winds and isolated tornado and that's exactly what happened in eastern sections of lancaster county. take a look at the clock. between 7:30 and around 7:40 we were watching that signature on the radar and that is where the damage occurred in sections of lancaster county. look at the temperatures right now. 42 degrees. but look at the winds. gusting to 31 miles per hour so that is ushering
