meteorologist scott williams is out in old city bracing the cold tonight. better you than us. how low are we talking, scott. >> we're talking some of the coldest temperatures so far this season, dawn and chris. it is cold here in old city. folks are bundled up and take a look at the thermometer. it is still hovering in the upper 30s. we did not even hit 40 degrees today in philadelphia. the coldest it has been in 10 months. let's talk about those particulars. that official high temperature came in this afternoon at 38 degrees. the last time it was this cold was february 18th. look at the numbers right now. 37 philadelphia. 33 as you move toward areas north and west. around places like doylestown, newtown square, it is cold. so bundle up. but those are the air temperatures. look at the actual feels like temperatures in the 20s with that wind chill. we have that fetch coming from the north and west. a couple of flurries can't be rule out but it shouldn't cause a big deal. but look at those tumbling temperatures. freezing by 11:00 o'clock tonight. it will get even colder. low temp

meteorologist scott williams here with a lock ahead. scott i see that camera behind you is just shaking away. >> absolutely, chris. we're talking about winds of change across the delaware valley. temperatures are dropping as well but take look at that camera kind of shaking as winds are already gusting up to 30 miles an hour across the philadelphia area. but look at the current numbers. 38 degrees right now after high today of 46. winds right now are sustained out of the west right at about 15 miles per hour. as we look at ultimate doppler most of the region drying out but earlier we were watching one little band, a shower that produced some heavy rain and also some sleet in parts of south jersey it moved through salem county around vineland moving toward mays landing as well as down the shore. reports of some sleet out of that but earlier in the day we saw some moderate to heavy rain about a quarter of an inch in philadelphia. far north and western suburbs we pick up about an inch or so in the lehigh valley. up to 5-inches of snow fell

let's check in with our scott william. >> scott, when is all of this out of here? >> well, most of the rainfall has ended. the cloud cover that will be moving out. but the temperatures they will be dropping and the wind will be picking up. but look at ultimate doppler. the first part of the day we saw some of that moderate to heavy rainfall along i-95 into parts of south jersey and delaware. about quarter of an inch of rain but far north and west it was cold enough for some snow in particular in the pocono mountains. we saw about 5.2-inches poconos summit, mount pocono just little over four and a half inches. 2-inches for bush kill township and huffs church about 1.1-inches. about a coating around the allentown area. but look at those temperatures right now. 30 mount pocono. 30s north and west. low 40s right now in philadelphia. 41 in millville and 43 in atlantic city. so temperatures for tonight, 33 in the city. 30 in the burbs. clouds moving out of here but turning blustery those winds gusting up to 30 miles per hour by midnight as we go hour with hour. look at f
