big time monsoon toward arizona and it was lit up big time over phoenix and scottsdale.e rotates into southern nevada and southern california and along the crest of the sierra. for us it's a lot of fog and hazy smoky skies. bodega bay, 52 degrees and these are cold for this time of year and then if you go to l.a. and santa monica and san diego is 74-78. one is warm and one is cold. that has set the stage for a cool month. 90 and you cry and still going to be 100 today but hopefully after today temperatures come down. 57 in the city. 50s for some and 60s low others and low 60s around the bay. stanford 76 and fremont 74 and look at pacifica, maltz beach. san mateo and 70. you go east you find a lot of 70s and even 88 by the contra pavilion and danville 87. big difference in the fog is not going anywhere and it will be back tonight. hopefully these inland temps will come down and give the firefighters some relief. that's what we are looking for. for a week we could use cooler weather and it looks like that is on the old weather menu. >>> we have baseball at the coliseum. pa
