that will push its way in across from the south and start to gradually head its way up the eastern seaboard. as it does for tomorrow, it will set up for a chance of light showers, primarily to the south of the d.c. region. i can't rule out that we won't get any. i put it in the forecast that we could see a light shower or two. a stronger system that will bring wet weather by wednesday. a tenth or less than that. by the time we get to wednesday, we could see an inch of rainfall in the local areas where we get heavier rainfall hitting through. then by the end of the week, we will clear out again and here is a look at futurecast for tomorrow. we have a few showers edging their way into the 5:00 hour. then they are out of the way by the time we hit into the later part of the evening. cool and cloudy. could see a shower or two pop up. not all of you will see it. light, scattered here and there. we put it in the forecast for you. by midday around 49 degrees. so, tonight then, mostly cloudy skies and chilly. temperatures in the low 30s. could see upper 20s out there. 34 in the city. light northeas

thanks to a southerly flow that's bringing in rain and quite a bit to the atlantic seaboard from nework state down to georgia. right now we are getting some light rain here in washington, prince george's, fairfax, arlington, montgomery counties and farther to the south in charles county and parts of anne arundel and calvert and st. mary's. down toward fredericksburg, lighter rain is falling. there's heavier downpours now just coming in along the blue ridge. just about to come into madison and greene counties as well as out in the mountains where temperatures are now around 40 degrees there at shenandoah valley west to north. but look at this -- culpeper, 64. fredericksburg at 64. la plata, 62 degrees. while frederick is only 39. hagerstown, 37. quite a contrast in temperatures this morning. 7:19 the sunrise. and we'll be in the 50s and low 60s through the morning hours with occasional showers. some might be previously heavy at times here over the next couple of hours. and we'll have a blustery wind move in during the afternoon out of the north and west. that will bring in the colder
