sean henry. sean, give us a breakdown of what the fbi is doing right now. they have identified the dead shooter, he is 34-year-old aaron alexis of ft. worth, texas. they put pictures of him on the website. the evidence response team is going into the scene of the crime. what is the job of the fbi right now? >> first and foremost, they want to make sure public safety is intact. they will be looking to make sure there are no other shooters, there's no other co-conspirators that were working with alexis. the way they'll do that is they'll start, after they identify him, go out and interview people that know him, relatives, associates, business colleagues. they'll look to execute search warrants on his residence and his vehicle. they'll probably serve judicial documents to get his cell records and to get some of his electronic media, maybe computers and those sorts of things. because what you really want to do is expand the scope and make sure there are no other co-conspirators so you can assure there are no other plots. we have seen historically with some of t

joining me is a former assistant director sean henry.nks, very much for being with us. >> thank you. >> to you, what are the big red flags here? that we are told, we just learned from herb griffin this may have been his first day at work here at the navy yard, but that he passed two security clearance within the last year or so. >> well, these things clearly don't happen in a vacuum. there is warning signs in advance, whether bouts of anger or rhetoric, angry language, people he may have talked to. writings or computer searches, those sorts of things. those are the types of things the fbi would be looking for in the coming days. >> from terms of the investigation, where at this hour would an investigation be? >> the most important thing, really, is safety, they will look to make sure there is no collabora collaborator, they want to make sure that is not the case here. what they will do is serve search warrants at his place of residence, and will look at all types of digital media, who he knew, and what other plans he might have had. >> a
