including one possible tornado pushed through parts of morgan county then out through phillips and sedgwick county before drying everything out. they've also contained a lot of wind. that's been a big problem for folks around the red feather lake although right now calm wind gusts are up there. that's the good news. our strongest gusts are well out on hours or so, we are going to see gusty winds from time to time. we have seen them out in the backyard. we've got -- or we're expecting 12-mile-per-hour gusts around the red feather lakes at 1:00 in the morning. they will calm down again as we get into sunrise. by 2:30 in the afternoon we may see breezy conditions here in denver and some gusty winds up through our foothills. so certainly as we see firefighters face that wildfire going to be watching those winds very carefully. we are also going to be watching out for a chance for rain. southeast colorado could see some showers tomorrow. everybody else is going to be dry. 8:00 in the morning, we are looking at partly cloudy skies here in the denver metro area. as we get closer to 2:00 and 3:00,

we are starting with low visibility near akron and ray and into philips and sedgwick county. all the way from fort morgan to er corner is pretty gad this morning, and -- bad this morning and we could see that coming close to the denver area this morning. aside from the fog, it's quite across the state. most of the rain has cleared and we have a mixture of clouds and some clear skies here in denver later on today, some of the storms on the western slope from mofette county down to the southwest, we may see bigger thunderstorms today that roll on through. gusty winds are a huge issue for us, ahead of our upcoming storm system and may get heavier rainfall along with 55 in boulder. 56 in burlington. 52 in avon, and 63 in grand junction. our weather watcher reporting 42 degrees in silver plume, and the hour-by-hour forecast, a mild morning. winds pick up this afternoon, and we have the chance of thunderstorms and rain showers rolling through. they don't look to be severe and winds won't be nearly as bad as western slope. let's check with joel, good morning. >>> we're seeing a good

severe thunderstorm warning for this one going through phillips and sedgwick county until 5:30. we've already seen house windows broken out with the hail near julesburg as they have golf ball size golf ball size hail in holyoke and al vicinity. that's not it. in fort morgan they have had over half inch diameter hail. golf ball size hail in kimble, idalia as well picking up big hailstones. denver is not included in the severe thunderstorm watch. we will probably just see the wind kicking up. today. 87 downtown. another day of above-normal temperatures. 82 out there now. the wind is kicking up. it is out of the southwest at 25. but we have seen gusts up over 35 miles per hour out of some of these storms. jim bruce up in risk canyon had over a quarter of an inch of rain. larry in brush got almost three- quarters of an inch of rain from those storms yesterday. tomorrow morning we will clear out, mostly sunny. by after the southeast but almost the entire state will be high and dry. so a very dry and sunny labor day for a lot of folks tomorrow. there is a slight chance we could see so
