mark segraves has the story. >> reporter: it started just after 1:00 sunday morning. shots rang out here at the intersection of north capitol and t street northwest in the bloomingdale neighborhood. 36-year-old jimmy fleming, who was inside the car opened fire, shooting three of the occupants, killing two men and injuring a 17-year-old boy. sources tell news 4, a witness who was also in the car at the time of the shooting, but was not injured led police to this house, a few blocks away on "w" street northwest. neighbors say police surrounded the row house sunday morning with guns drawn. police cornered the suspect on his back porch where an intense stand off ensued. after intense shouting between the police and the suspect, he surrendered. neighbors did not want to talk on camera fearing retaliation. several of them told us police are frequently called to this house for various disturbances. >> we are getting a look at the thief who has gotten into homes by pretending to be a cable worker. this video shows him boarding a metro bus. police believe it's the same man who
