same deal with septa's trenton line a regular schedule, septa unfold this morning.however, inbound trains to center city we will skip north philadelphia station outbound trains, leaving philly, heading to trenton we will skip north philadelphia, brideberg and tacony. the main reason inn ted of four tracks there is only three. we will roll with three this morning. at least that opened up the northeast corridor and gets traffic moving through. three stations listed here are 39 stations on either side of that curve around that accident from last week. so expect the trains to go slower than normal, obviously through that station area pack your patients. there will be some delays today. we will get through. a little late but we will get through. west trenton line will return to normal with a regular weekday schedule. remember they beefed it up because of the lack of the trenton trains. that will go back to its normal weekday schedule. right now not bad at all schuylkill expressway looking good. in problems coming down i-95. nothing out of the ordinary here. they were sup

now let's go to the septa map. because this is going to impact thousands of commuters. 11,000 commuters a day use septa's trenton regional rail line. it is one of septa's busiest regional rail lines connecting trenton new jersey to new jersey transit system, up to new york and of course it, comes right down, kind of runs parallel to 95. through all of the neighborhoods, bucks county, levittown, makes the curve here in bridesburg, you got the corn wells park and ride a loft folks park here, and take the trenton line to avoid construction jam on i9 # a. so the 11,000 commuters impacted you have couple of options. if you still need to use mass transit, work your way over to the fox chase line, work your way over to the west trenton line not an easy work your way over, a lot of folks either take the bus system, into the rail lines or maybe get dropped off. but again there are options. the other option would be from center city, you can use the patco high-speed line into new jersey river line takes you up and connect wi

something septa engineers say happens way too routinely. septa reported the night of the amtrak derailment that one of their trains was struck by a projectile just minutes before the amtrak derailment and the very same general area as last week but according to the ntsb, investigators have not determined if those incidents are connected. now, septa says, rocks and other things thrown at their trains happen all the time. they say it's not always reported. they say it's usually kids, not knowing how dangerous it could be. >> the message we want to get across is that we don't want anybody in our track area. we want folks to understand the danger of throwing rocks at trains. it's not a fun activity. it can cause injuries. it can cause damage. it can cause injuries to the person throwing the rock. >> reporter: now septa says trespassing on to the tracks is a huge concern for them, and they are asking anyone who lives near rail lines if they see broken fences on those lines to be sure to report them immediately. lucy? >> all right, thank you very

we've secured the track image recorder from the septa train to see what we can learn from that. moving forward, right after she recalled hearing this conversation between the engineer and -- her engineer and septa engineer, she said that she felt a rumbling and her train leaned over and her car went over on its side. she said they were not able to self-evacuate and they waited for the emergency responders to get them out. she said she had about 15 passengers in her car. we asked what her relationship working relationship was with the -- with her locomotive engineer. she said she had worked with him a good bit and said he was great to work with. she said he was always offering to help her with her job. now let's move to the assistant conductor number two. he's 35 years old, he was hired by amtrak in may of last year, just a few days before the accident, he had celebrated his one-year anniversary with amtrak. he was in the seventh passenger car, that of course is the last passenger car, and he reported having about 40 people in his car. up to the accident he reported no problems o
