that is the message from septa for anybody who won those regional rail passes in septa's lottery andimed them. septa is extending the deadline by about a day to pay for the passes until about 3:00 this afternoon and they're sending a second round of e-mails just in case to remind you. the lottery last week came of course after the first attempt to sell the passes failed when their site crashed. they had 355,000 passes available but according to reports tens of thousands have not been sold and again the issue today those that have been sold still need to be paid for. >> this is the fair way for people to be able to enter the lottery, indicate that they would like to purchase a pass, and have everybody on equal standing. so it looks like people are entering the lottery for just the amount of passes that they need to come to visit the pope or come into work. >> i live in west philly, i take the green line or the trolley to the regional rail. that's how i usually get there. i was thinking about just asking for those days off so i can steer around the whole problem all together. >> that r

septa is still designated train stopeds stops sold out and what is remaining. matt delucia is live. how is the community bracing for the expected rush matt? >> reporter: the police here at radnor in planning mode quite a while and meeting with septa and other agencies. tens of thousands of people will be coming here because the route 100 and r-5 lines come through this area and septa has 18 stops on the papal plan and radnor is on that list. the police here are expecting more than 20,000 people coming here just for travel into the city. now, the emergency operation center here in radnor will be open as well. other suburban towns are making similar adjustments. the radnor police all vacation time for them has been cancelled. emergency workers will be on double shifts i'm told to make sure that traffic moves to and from the trains. >> everybody has some type of impact during this time whether it's a road closure, a train station stop so we need to work together as a team to get the job done. >> 476 there as well as lancaster avenue here are expected to be more crowded during papal vis

septa says it will be reduced to 18 stations. they will come into three stations here close to the heart of the city. th street station 30th street station is one. market street station is another, and jefferson station. if you want to see the pope he is going to be at the art museum, so how do you get from here all the way over to there? you will have to walk from here all the way over to the art museum catch the regional rail back out of town again in it the evening. this is something people should be aware of when they go online to apply for the opportunity to get the pass, the papal pass for that weekend, the 26th and 27th. sunday turns into monday 12:01 a.m. monday. it goes to 11:59 p.m. monday. 24-hour period for you to go online andnter the lottery to try to purchase the papal pass. if you want to use septa, that's the way you have to do it. you don't have to jump online at 12:01, but apply for the lottery within that 24-hour window. if you do actually win the lottery, bear in mind here's 30th street the art museum is way
