at one of the stops, the man gets out, punches the glass of the septa bus yelling at a womanen side. the bus continues on, makes another stop. the woman tries to get off. the man gets on to that bus and pulls her physically off that bus and then gets away in a pontiac grand prix or pontiac grand am. the police are trying to narrow down the description of that car. they're saying that vehicle did speed off in an unknown direction here. they believe the man and woman know each other, this could be a domestic kidnapping. they tried to run the tags on that car. so far it has turned up nothing. this investigation still very much underç way. police do not know who the victim is or who the abductor is at this point. they're trying to get all of that video and process that as quickly as possible. we spoke with chief inspector scott small. we're trying to get audio of that, coming up in the next 30 minutes. >>> this morning we are in touch with septa to find out if service will resume on one of the busiest rail tlins. a major disruption on the paoli thorndale line led to a nightmare commute f

woman was on the septa bus and a man, who obviously knows would the man was following the septa bus, and when it stopped at a typical stop, the man ran up to the bus trying to get through to the women. while doors were shut, woman was sitting on the busy went up and smacked window so hard with an opened palm he smashed and shattered that big septa side passenger window. the bus driver seeing a problem not knowing what is going on, not knowing if these two people necessity each other, takes off and starts going down the boulevard. this guy, then they learn is in a pontiac grant preor grand am, with a paper tag, a temporary tag from the state of the delaware. that guy, then drives in front of the bus, cuts it off, forced the bus to stop on the boulevard, and then he gets out of the car, comes back over to the bus, bus driver does not let him in but woman demand to be let off the bus for some reason despite how violent that guy was acting. the as bus driver's door is opened, the guy gets up into the doorway where woman was trying to get off the bus and start punching her in the face and

is now here at the frankford bus depo where septae been searching through it for clues, and also, reviewing video from cameras, aboard. police say there are several cameras on that bus, that critical angle including the front door. and may capture good image of the woman, just before her abduction. this all began about 2:00 a.m., along the 4600 block of roosevelt boulevard, when a septa driver noticed a silver pontiac following very close. then, near the boulevard and langdon, the pontiac stopped and a man got out and began screaming. he even made his way to the side of the bus, and broke the window near where that victim sat. now within cents say the woman screamed that man is crazy, but there are no report she ever gave a name. the bus driver pulled off and was met again by that man about five blocks south when he used his pontiac to cut off the bus. the pontiac driver then approached the bus again, and this time the woman also got off. police describe what happened next. >> reporter: the mail grabbed the female off of the bus, fun

she was the woman in question but was not abducted as reported. >> police poured over video from septa bus station, septa told police that the woman boarded the bus at 1:45 this morning. the driver was on roosevelt boulevard when he noticed a silver car following him trying to get him to pull over. while stopped at a red light, police say that the man got out of his car and punched the glass smashing it and shouted at the woman to get off the bus but when the light changed it kept going. witnesses said it appeared he knew the woman. >> she said he is crazy but never said his name. >> when the bus pulled over the woman asked to get out and he met her at the front door and when the doors open police say that the man pulled her off the bus and punched her twice in the head and dragged her to the vehicle and threw her by her pants in the backseat. the car had delaware tags but when they were ran nothing came up. she came to police this morning to tell them she was in fact not abducted. but riders were shocked hear how bold this man was. >> it's surprising, septa is a public place. for someone

worker was in customer service and she thought this man was ronald graham, a man who rode the septa route 23 busd often complained about the service. then on thursday morning, septa got another tip. >> about 7:25 a.m. we got a tip that the shooter was on a route 23 that was on germantown avenue. >> reporter: the bus was stopped and police went to the man in the back. once the bus is empty and backup arrived the police wake the man and tell him he issing recorded, the audio is fuzzy but with officer's help he stands up as he is searched. >> it's nice see and hear though we're dealing with an attempt murder suspect, somebody that viciously shot someone you heard how the officers dealt with that man. they dealt with him with respect and dignity. >> reporter: once off the bus other septa transit police officers were waiting, using the mug shot to positively identify the person that they had arrested as that wanted man. and the septa chief says for all of those people arecord the route 23 bus they may not have had an answer why they were evacuated so quickly. this should serve as an example when poli

ronald graham was arrested one week ago on a septa bus just blocks away. with the details. >> reporter: good evening rick and monica, we know that the septa surveillance system across town is state of the art on buses and subways and trolleys and up on the platforms of the trains and now a new tool for septa. that is suspect ronald graham sleeping on septa bus along route 23 on german town avenue several days after he shot and seriously wounded an employee. surveillance video surk lated all around town and septa employees including cop recognizes him because of his angry complaints about septa service. septa got a tip call he was on board the 23, and while he sleeps, the sergeant evacuated the bystanders, and moved in on ronald graham who proved to be unarmed that day. all of septa's uniformed officers are now outfitted with body cameras, this is his body cam view of the same arrest. >> this will show and put the police in a great light and shine the light on the police that are not acting properly. it's a great tool for policing. >> reporter: rick and moni
