so that means 1 out of 10 kids involved in sexting. that's still a pretty high number. >> yeah.up in this stuff? >> now it is interesting. most of the time, nothing happens to these kids, because most of the time a picture doesn't stay on the cell phone, and most of the time they aren't widely distributed. but if they do get widely distributed and law enforcement folks get wind of it, the child really can get arrested. it is illegal to be sending pictures of minors, especially if you are sending them to other minors. kids don't always realize that what they're doing can get them into big trouble. >> so if you are a parent how do you prevent this from happening with your teenager? >> first, accept the fact that your child may think that this is no big deal. you take a picture of sexually explicit picture of your girlfriend and send it to a friend of yours. big deal. that's how some young men are going to think. first thing you need to do is talk to your kids about sexting, explain why even if it doesn't look so sexual to them, it really is. the second thing you need to do, you ne

a former employee is accusing the team of covering up a sexting scandal which led to her dismissal. this is a story we first reported yesterday. today the oakland woman came forward about the alleged sexual photos. let's bring in henry wofford from our news room. the woman has come forward, we've heard from the warriors. any word from monta ellis yet? >> raj, monta ellis did not talk to the media and they did not practice. we're waiting to hear from the warriors star player. there is a lot developing with the story. tuesday the story broke that an ex-warriors employee was suing the team and monta ellis for sexual harassment claiming the star sent her dozens of unwarranted text mess ans, proposing sexual encounter, including a graphic photo of ellis' genitalia. we're learning erika ross smith alleges ellis began texting her in 2010 while smith worked as team director of community relations. smith filed the lawsuit in alameda county superior court. afterwards the lawyer answered questions. >> i want to emphasize that my client miss smith never, never wanted the texts. she never had an
