good morning, i'm tony perkins. >> i'm allison seymour. our weather looks like it's off to a nice start today. not the same in new orleans. throughout louisiana and parts of the gulf coast. let's give you a look right now and get you caught up on hurricane isaac. it is slamming new orleans now with 80-mile-per-hour winds, flooding does not seem to be too much of a problem in the crescent city at this time. but that's not the case to the south of the big easy. >> that's right. water has reportedly overtopped an 18-mile stretch of a levee in one parish there. you can see on this map just where that is. there are reports that nine feet of water are now in some homes and officials have been scrambling for a few hours to evacuate folks forced to the third floors or roofs of those buildings. >> isaac had stopped for a time but it's moving again although slowly and that's a real problem. it means folks in the region have hours more to go of the rain and heavy wind. you're looking at fox's elizabeth prann about 90 minutes ago doing her best to sta
