now, according to sfgate, the class action lawsuit claims several employees often skipped meals and rushed to deliver ice cream to bay area stores before it melted. workers also say the company failed to pay minimum wage and overtime pay. now. we tried to contact humphrey slocum for comment. we have not heard back. >> time is now for 405. samtrans now has new safety measures along the peninsula to protect its drivers. the union that represents 320 samtrans drivers say they routinely face verbal and physical attacks. samtrans says last year the number of incidents spiked when there were 14 cases of attacks on bus operators is. >> this mirrors a national trend that's really concerning and so it's our mission to prevent as many of these assaults as we possibly can now see through protective barriers are being installed around the bus driver's compartment to reduce the risk of violence. >> and the board of samtrans approved a new code of conduct and an enforcement policy that says violators will be banned from future use of samtrans lines dealing with bullying, discrimination and intimidation
