there is a website on sfgov. org/acs to get information about ham radio communications in san francisco. all right. other questions? >> i was curious the difference in red cross and nert idealy you would want both. would i start getting 20 people together for red cross? >> it depends on your community. if they are ready to go and say, we want to go all out go to the fire department and get the full nert training. if they are like, i'm not sure and you are just getting to know each other the red cross training is great because it's an hour we cover the personal preparedness much the first step if you want to say, let's get everyone in the same room and look at everyone and know their names. you can invite us both. you can invite the humane society and they'll do animal care and control. >> and they will come out and do something. you can have your miniresource fair depending on nature of your community. >> cpr? >> yes. >> right. we do first aid/cpr and shelter training and case management and damage assessment. th

we have a web site, sfgov. it is time to help share some real estate on that website by putting notifications of of department actions so that it is that much more vivid and clear for people so that they have the kind of electronic road map and know what to do. it doesn't make sense that we just rely on the newspaper noticing. something to you can pull up for us? this is the standard that was part of san francisco's strategy for the last 40 years. it is done in three ways. the that before you is the real fault and the real size, or it will be beside -- behind the clerk's office. you ask yourselves why anyone of us have to feel what i think is important, that people need access to information. it is a simple tweak. we break down the barriers. newspaper notifications are necessary, and we obligate ourselves to make sure that we increase the assets of where we notified. we may get that much easier for the public to get in touch with us. in the 69 commissions, task forces, or advisory groups that most people don't

check it out if you go to sfgov. org and click on agencies and the planning department on the planning department home page there is a spreadsheet they update when they have time of neighborhood organizations that want to be notified. so and many are interested in getting money to improve their neighborhoods. we usually have applications along the order of 2-1/2 times the funding that we have. like we will have 500 thousand dollars available to give out ask and we get 1.3 million dollars worth of applications. it's competitive. we are not hard and fast about breaking down the money between small, medium and large. we are pretty flexible. we like to look at good projects. we always try to fund one large project if it's a hundred thousand we may be might not fund 2 large projects. so, with that, i will quit and invite david and neil and joseph to talk about some of their projects and how they have looked at their neighborhoods and tried to figure out who the stake holders are that can be really activated to produce a l
