in regards to ocean avenue loading, the engineer firm to deal with sfmta increasing loading available to the proposed project. failed drawings show the existing condition and the proposal to add a second 40-foot four-inch long accessible loading area on ocean avenue. last thursday of the sponsored and sfmta staff again, and prior to the october 1st hearing, to the commission a letter with recommended conditions of approval to be included with the project approval. the product sponsor has a written response from the supervisor and is in agreement to the request of conditions except for the request for the project to establish a tax and a phased approach to increasing the number of patients served and their defenses within their written response. should the commission chose to amend the projects by adopting any of the conditions of approval, recommended by supervisor yee, staff pro pairs a summary of the conditions of approval that currently exist in the draft motion and new conditions of approval that provide the supervisor's recommendations in a implementable and enforceable manner to

the way the sfmta handled which lines to cut, to me, seemed like the right framework to thinking about bringing them back. which is, if you live in an area, with a high concentration of people who rely on our public transportation system, exclusively, to get around and especially to get to work, those are the areas that should be prioritize and with existing services and quality of service and consistency of service and you know, you have seen that with the lines that have been kept. a lot of these lines have been kept, including the 14 and 14 1r take worksers to their jobs and reopen and we should go backwards and what areas have who require our public transportation system for economic mobility and freedom and bring back service to them. the case of the 27 in the tenderloin. which had a critical purpose in bringing folks north/south within the tenderloin and served as specific senior community and it's going to be brought back on january 23rd so we also need to think, we can walk and chew gum and we can be surgical in some of the improvements that made in communities where people nee

"mercury news" is reporting that the camera 12 cinema on south second street will be turned into a new office and retail complex. this is the rendering for that new building. developers just received city approval and reconstruction of the theater. construction will start in the new year. >>> and happening for you today, christmas is coming early for some kids in san francisco. glide memorial church holding its annual food and toy annual give away but it will look a little different, of course. usually families come into the church, pick out what they want probably because of the pandemic and those gifts will be given direc

transit, but also sfmta and others. one item we affected was darkening some of the kiosks that resulted in considerable savings of license fees that we pay each month for each kiosk. it's a skip stop affair, so there is a -- kiosk visible no matter where you are. and of course at each operating bus, we're able to turn off almost 60 different kiosks on the bay and in the grand hall. additionally, we've had uptick of vandalism behavior issues in the restrooms near bay 15, near the center of the facility on the bus deck. as a pilot, we have begun closing those on the weekend and opening restrooms up on the park, which previously were closed during the shelter-in-place. so that patrons had alternatives. there are two other restroom facilities on either end. it has been a success so far. we'll look at perhaps extending that, but we'll wait to see some public comments coming in as to whether that has been a problem or not. so we'll keep you posted on that. and relative to the bus storage facility, again, given the low tempo o

the sfmta stuff and things, i mean, that is an interesting thing. i never had to deal with that before. i'm in full support of this document without really any much changes. i'll go to you guys to see what you guys think about it. >> i really appreciate the thought that went into this and i certainly understand the importance of it and i would like us to be able to move it forward in line with what assessor recording two was encouraging us to move forward recommendations and suggestions and i think there's a lot of stuff in here that is not specific to venues or the entertainment commission. rent and mortgage payments, payroll, utilities, et cetera. and obviously the city and again if we just heard the city has had some efforts to address this and i don't know whether any of the venues were able to access any of those small business and other funds before they were ant makes sense to pull out those who are entertainment specific or move forward. i'm fine with moving forward but we may get push back because they're not entertainment industry specific
