good morning board. sfmta's employees and all a lot of other people i know is his microphone on. can't hear you. peter, can you hear me now? so i'll reset the time. thank you. if you could not hear, the mic was not on. thank you. it is now. okay. thank you. my name is peter tan and i'm a retired sfmta employee. and along with a lot of people i know, i've been very satisfied with united health care, but not with blue shield in the past. and urged the board to reaffirm its june 7th decision. and i think quality we should be more important than cost. cost should be considered, but quality needs to be considered and i 30s remaining 30s and i, i would, personally be happy to pay somewhat of a more premium for a better plan like united health care and a specific concern. it says that the two former formularies of the two plans are closely aligned, but that doesn't mean they're the same. i'm taking a anti-cancer drug that costs almost $190,000 a year. that, fortunately, is covered by insurance, and i'm really worried if blue shield doesn't cover this. thank thank you for your comments.

so we called for the sfmta to complete the pilot, but to simultaneously develop designs for a parking protected lanes. and we thank the board and in particular sfmta staff, for not only working toward producing that design, but for doing a massive amount of outreach and engagement to get us to this point. we strongly support the conceptual design. it's predictable and familiar, and we applaud the intersection treatments that it would introduce, such as state mandated, mandated daylighting and protected intersections. these intersection treatments must have the most robust materials. a quick build can allow to discourage people driving from dangerously cutting the corner. to ensure safety, we call for a few changes. floating parklets should be removed from the design altogether, and all parklets must remain against the curb. having the lane sometimes run between the curb and a parklet introduces potentially dangerous conflicts between people, biking and staff and customers who use the parklets and the proposed mix of curbside and floating parklets is unpredictable and confusing, making the design unsafe. additionally, to kee
