at sfo and other bay area airports at sfo has about 169 flights delayed. oakland 76 flights delayed san jose 99 flights delayed now i spoke with san francisco's airport duty manager, he says about 13% of sfo's flights have delays and there are about 29 cancelations , which he says is about average for this time of year on a rainy day. and cancelations are because of this f a. a ground stop that happened overnight or for other reasons, the faa grounded all domestic flights across the u. s. for a period of about three hours earlier this morning that ground stop was lifted at six o'clock our time. we didn't see any cancelations this morning because of that grounding at sfo because no domestic flights depart here before six am so by then, that ground shop had been lifted. we did speak with one man who did have a flight canceled last night to orlando out of sfo. here's what he said about scrambling to re book and changed his plans. got rebooked on something within the airline. i was originally on, and then they decided to change it and just go with a new airlin

we've seen thousands of flight delays and cancellations across the country here at sfo. same story. a lot of flight cancellations and delays and you throw in some nasty weather has just been a real tough day for travelers. it's going to take a look at some video from inside the airport a little earlier today. now, this is just sort typical wednesday right now at but we've already seen 300 flight delays and 28 flight cancellations. most of the delays flights from this morning. we're rescheduled for this afternoon and it's sort of a domino effect with kind of trickling down in impacting people. i talked to several folks inside who had their flights delayed. they are frustrated as you can imagine. but after a year of travel troubles in a holiday season, that was just a mess. a lot of these folks are frustrated, but nobody really seemed all that surprised. >> super fresh. and then the russian part is having to sit around at the airport. but i think with the bad weather, i had an assumption and no, it's not due to that. but ahead of something, something was going >> yes, so we are expect
