take a look at some of those gusty winds around half moon bay and also at sfo and throughout the san bruno gap. it's breezy to the north and to the east. tomorrow's winds out of the northwest 10 to 20. because of that right there. we had the departure of one front. another approaching front, taking direct aim on northern california. you can see that we have the precipitation leaving the bay area, but we had a smattering of sleet this evening as well atop mount hamilton. now there's that winter weather advisory in effect until 10 p.m. tomorrow. it was extended by the national weather service up to 14in of snow in the highest elevations. and that is acceptable. right. okay, here's our futurecast. and you can see that we will turn partly cloudy during the day tomorrow. mostly cloudy by monday night and then spotty hit and miss scattered showers through your tuesday, but the accumulation will be very minimal. we're talking about maybe a 10th of an inch or less throughout the bay area. okay. and then that will continue to churn up that surf. we're talking waves not as high as today. we di

yes, it is a gloomy and wet start as we look over sfo. those showers passing through midday.see that rain pushing on through. it is still pretty heavy though, as you are waking up in livermore. that activity has passed on through into the altamont pass down in through sunol. we see those showers starting to pick up as you make your way along the peninsula southern half of redwood city into san jose. and those showers that have just popped up through parts of the bay view, pushing on through parts of berkeley and those spotty showers that continue up into the north bay. so it's hit or miss as we wake up this morning. people are getting ready for the napa valley marathon, halmarathon and five k. it starts at seven this morning. you'll feel maybe a couple drops on your head, but some people like that kind of running weather, and that's really the only activity i see there. as the race gets underway. the second half of the mid morning hours, once you're done with all of that, the afternoon brunch and drinks that you're going to get to celebrate looking much clearer but cooler. we

we'll tell you where this is skies and gloomy at sfo. on this chillier morning, we're expecting a cooldown and some rain this weekend. cinthia pimentel will be along in just a few minutes with your full microclimate forecast on this march 1st. but first, we have new clues into the mysterious deaths of actor gene hackman and his wife, pianist betsy arakawa. investigators say they now believe hackman died back on february 17th. that's nine days before he and his wife and one of their dogs were discovered dead in separate areas inside their santa fe, new mexico, home. investigators removed several items from that home, including heart and thyroid medications and medical records. they're also reviewing data provided by hackman's pacemaker, and are in the process of assessing the couple's cell phone records. we'll be analyzing cell phone data, phone calls, text messages, events, photos in the in the cell phone to try to piece a timeline together. the couple was found on wednesday. 95 year old hackman's 65 year old wife was found in the bathro
