and we are working with the walk sf as well, to create a training video for sfpd to know how to enforce, bicycle and pedestrian issues and make sure that they are properly reporting when there is a collision and things like that, and looking forward to getting that out and it will be mandatory for all officers to watch as well. i just want to thank you in support of the vision zero and it is a data point and i think that what leah was trying to point out about the increase of that five focus on the five top collisions that i just put it over here but the five top ones don't have as high of an increase, and we have said that we are pushing toward the 50 percent goal of focus on the five for the traffic citations and you can see that they are much lower than the other growth where there is a lot more growth on the pedestrian side, and the focus on the five is where we are trying to get to 50 percent and it was a two percent increase from last quarter. and i think that seeing more progress there in the five dangerous behaviors that are causing the collisions that result in a severe injury

we have the three accidents, which have been documented in sfpd reports.he lieutenant is here if you have any questions on those reports. it's not just overcrowding. we have traffic backing up all the way down to van ness, on hyde, at the bottom of leven worth, the surrounding streets. it is a mess. this is not our first approach. this pilot program, we have been working with the sfmta and i have to say they have been absolutely incredible and amazing to work with. it's increased the number of parking control officers on the weekends for that additional enforcement. it has helped a little bit. the problem still persists. i myself go out there just to test it. i live on greenwhich street. i went out there to meet neighbors who were complaining about a at&t box, i went up van ness, up lombard, on a thursday afternoon i could barely get down the street. and nobody's there. nobody is there enforcing anything, any rules. so we're here to ask for your help, basically. our understanding of the pilot project is that it would inform staff as to whether the problems

we also work closely with sfpd in constant communications with them as well as park patrol and our cbo partners to find new ways of not only patrolling and policing our facilities, but again activating them in a healthy way. recreation, jumping to employment. our summer jobs for youth and adults, we have over 500 summer hires this year. recreation is the city's oldest standing youth program. we're hiring 235 youth this summer and we've also ramp up an additional 132 leaders which are the folks who lead our courses and programs to help with the camps. we hired 103268 coordinators which help lead those camps and we have an additional 100 life guards, and cooks et cetera that we employ for the summer. we also have the 20 kids that participate in the green agers program. it's pretty extensive. how do we outreach and market all the things we do. we do collateral material, the fliers and post cards and we try to get those up in our facilities including our pools and rec centers and any of the businesses or our cbo partners that we can. we have banners that we use. we send out an e news to 50
