at the end of last month, the sfpuc issued a decision addressing i.o.u. service disconnections and an additional covid-19 related debt measures. first, with the advocacy from san francisco and other c.c.a.s and ratepayer advocates, the decision extended the disconnection moratorium through december 30, 2021. we believe that the effective moratorium will actually be longer than this, likely through the end of the calendar year. in addition to extending the disconnection moratorium, the decision authorizes new covid-19 relief payment plan program that will auto enroll all investor and utility residential customers with energy utility arrears greater than 60 days into a 24-month payment plan. that will continue to protect customers from utility disconnections as long as they do not miss more than two monthly payments. this program will complement the arrears management program that we discussed here in the past which provided debt forgiveness for low-income customers that are enrolled in similar 12-month payment plans. while the decision did not specifically
