will not come as a shock to parents or staff that custodial staffing has been on the lean side at sfusd and that the kind of routine cleaning and disinfecting protocols that d.p.h. is requiring, which by the way i do not consider to be burdensome or intense, but just routine. over the past years of shrinking resources that have hit the custodial team, so now we're at the place where our existing custodial staffing which is 300f.t.e. can clean so much on a 24 hour period, so just focusing on high touched surfaces. it's about the size of our early education stand alone sites. so we are able to be able to provide support to the phase 2a priority populations that have been identified. when you look at that elementary school footprint and you assume 50% classroom capacity due to social distancing measures, that gives you about 15,000 daily feet. i want to say about, this is not precise. it's a magnitude number meant to give people a sense of the real, again, gap between our traditional 55,000 student body when at normal capacity and it's also something that i want to emphasize. we have not o

we take a two week winter break, we're on the same schedule as sfusd. we still have 36 youth enrolled in a waiting list -- we had a waiting list of 13 but one has moved off the island and then we were able to enroll two because two other people have moved off the island or able to go back to school in a small capacity. unfortunately, because of the spikes in cases lately, they're not allowed to be in two programs at once. we were not able to continue to serve those students but we provide virtual supports if they need it. we recently partnered with americore and they provided two staff to be in the building to support with the hub, which has been amazing and just the way the members have come in and helped to support and ready to get to work has been great. and because we have a waiting list, we're seeing they have a little bit more -- any additional members that can potentially join us to get the remainder of the kids off the list. unfortunately with the spikes in cases and just needing to be as safe as possible for everyone, it doesn't look like sfusd

thousands of teachers have left sfusd because they could not afford to live in san francisco or in the bay area and continue to work and working for the san francisco unified district. how is the decision made. lot of the decision has comes back down to cost. when we're entering a phase that tax credits become credit oh competitive. tax credits are the number one driver for building affordable housing in the united states. not just 56 no san francisco non california but in the united states. when we're doing mixed, whether it's private dollars. if we add more time, we're adding more cost, we're making it harder to build and adding more time. we're losing the opportunity to house people. that's real concern for supervisor i represent a district that represents working people and janitors. in the balboa example we're talking about millions and millions of truck cost. millions of dollars of subsidies that the city doesn't have access to and time ultimately to achieve 550 affordable units out of 1100. you can say let's take it and make it 100% affordable, 100% public dollars, you might add

from commissioner mar, and many of you have had interest in this, and we are working together with sfusd and department of dcyf, children, youth, and their families. for more information, please check our website, and we want to thank commissioner mar for putting some matching funds on that land grant, as well. district 11, the alemany resurfacing project is nearing its end. thank you, commissioner safai, for working with us on that. i think it touches district 8, as well, and the project will install 42 curb ramps, install sidewalks and bulb outs and other projects funded by the california p.u.c. and the sfmta. you may have also noticed, as far as project deliveries and red lanes being built on vanness avenue, so that is in the stage where the undergroundwork is behind us, and we are now working on -- the sfmta is working on building the median islands and the bus facilities. the plan is to test in fall of next year, and it's scheduled for end of next year time, so we can't wait for that. september 2020 did yield revenue of about 7.7 million. that was a 6% increase over the prior month

. >> sfusd's meal program right now is passing out five days worth of meals for monday through friday. the program came about when the shelter in place order came about for san francisco. we have a lot of students that depend on school lunches to meet their daily nutritional requirement. we have families that can't take a hit like that because they have to make three meals instead of one meal. >> for the lunch, we have turkey sandwiches. right now, we have spaghetti and meat balls, we have chicken enchiladas, and then, we have cereals and fruits and crackers, and then we have the milk. >> we heard about the school districts, that they didn't know if they were going to be able to provide it, so we've been successful in going to the stores and providing some things. they've been helpful, pointing out making sure everybody is wearing masks, making sure they're staying distant, and everybody is doing their jobs, so that's a great thing when you're working with many kid does. >> the feedback has been really good. everybody seems really appreciative. they do request a little bit more variet
