youth in d10 in the bayview hunter's point community we are in 5 high schools and 2 middle schools and sfusd. i'm here to speak in support of sip. 100% awarded a grant through the sip for summer stem program for middle school students at willie brown mitts school called, how do you h20? our students learned about the hetch hetchy water system and conversation. they toured our water waste system. they learned about sfpuc careers and learned how torenvironmental stewards. so they became water waste cap ain't in their own homes and communities. they created as a team we worked with over 16 students and they worked as a team to create power points that kept track of water usage. it includes math, percentages and graphs and evaluations. and so a wonderful program that involved some high school studentses and being mentors as well. and so this was a wonderful program for the summer but look forward to doing more educational opportunity for young people in the community -- so that they learn about our water system and they can learn more about stem. and we know as san francisco puc employees began
