it is still shale oil production where i was talking to a guy from north dakota yesterday.amily runs a farm with wells on it. what they're doing out there is they're drilling down to the last 200 feet, capping it and just waiting for a price hike in crude oil before they'll go drill the next 200 feet. tap the oil and gushers will come out. the point being, there's such pent-up supply that it will be a long time before we see energy prices going higher and without that you can't see the stocks going higher. >> you say a long time before you see it. if your time horizon is three to five years, is either one of these names investable? >> yes. definitively yes, because you're talking about the two names that are the biggest in the space. so as this progress goes through and companies will go bankrupt as time goes on, these guys will be the ones who have the scale and the financial resources to survive and then thrive on the debris that's left over from bankruptcies. >> but in the short term, hope is not an investment strategy. you can't hope -- >> no, that's what i'm saying. >>
