we also i see the beauty of some of our faith based organizations glide and cameron house, shalom bayit working to end domestic violence in the jewish community and a couple of other ones. we're trying to work with the interfaith council to make sure that we are speaking from the pulpit in san francisco, that we are connecting with congregants, that we are also offering services where so many people come for their support. so we have that too. there's a big potential there. we haven't lived up to it yet, but we will . so when we look at self-identified women and homelessness in san francisco, and i have to say i'm going to share that i borrowed this from some of our sisters at the women's housing coalition. we're one of the founding supporters, members, and they just presented last night at the commission on the status of women, 38% of san francisco's unhoused population are self-identified women. are we seeing 38% of them on the street? no, we're not. it's a hidden epidemic, just like domestic violence. so 38% is approximately 3000. and that's a snapshot of any given day. it's not an a
