shana offered volunteers to translate a few animals and to the usa. all of the woman's expenses for animal rescue are covered by donations from caring americans. this is all due to people sending us $20, $50, $100. it costs about $600 to transport one cat. this covers ground travel costs from the ukraine-romania border to bucharest, export veterinary documents, air pellet costs and us customs clearance upon arrival. however, for shana, a saved life is priceless. yes, bring these animals here. it is expensive to find them a new home here, but otherwise they will just sit there in these shelters in ukraine. animal adoptions are not currently taking place. people don't know what tomorrow will bring, let alone bringing home an animal that they may have to leave soon. you know, i like to joke that we're giving these animals a new life, a real american dream. for example, for nika, who was in kherson under shelling, bombs, etc. and then survived the flooding of gas stations . look at her now. she is calm, playful and will be going to her new home in a few d
