it's great to have you on, shannon.ics legislation for the supreme court? >> it is always great to be with you and not surprising. we expected a party-rhine vote, and -- party-line vote, and that is what we got. democrats think it's time to crack down on the supreme court. republicans have said is, listen, this court has operated the same way for centuries, literally, but what you're doing now is taking action to try to stifle, muffle or control the court because you don't like the decisions can coming from the court. so, listen, democrats say we want the court to adopt its own code of ethics, we want them to make that public. we also want to give the public a chance to file ethics complaints against the justices and set up a framework to do that. republicans say no way it's going anywhere in the senate or the house, so we'll see if their prediction's right. elizabeth: interesting. let's listen to republicans on this. watch. >> with what was chuck schumer saying on the supreme court of the united states steps that day?
