we'll talk with adam shapiro at fox business network. we heard of ran some ware. within thing we have not heard of is ransom ware affecting computers. >> yes, the viruses used to attack pcs and microsoft pcs. it appears that will require you to have downloaded software so call pier to peer to peer file exchanges. the software was version 2.90. that's been stopped. because of the way the apple universe works is able to stop a software from being delivered once they find a problem like this which they've done, the folks who wrote transmission have responded with version 2.92 which cleeps up the problem. but here's the problem if your son or daughter, or even if you downloaded 2.90. you are unaware for about three days that that virus is living in your mac and it's encrypting data and three days after the infection it begins to lock you out of your personal data and then it cars you. it's a ransom. they ask you to pay them in hard to chase digital currencies. big coin. the hackers, bad guys if you want to call them that have found a way into the apple universe. >> ad
