adam shapiro live in berlin. stay with us for one second. give us a sense of the mood if you can of the street there in berlin. are people worried? >> people here are surprised. not worried by surprised. it is all sinking in right now. nobody had, you might say, a plan to deal with the potential exit. they had scheduled meetings with the eu at the parliament in brussels on tuesday to figure out how to go forward regardless of the outcome. now that the outcome is to leave you have people like the president of france who is going to come here to berlin to meet with angela merkel. the two largest economies are germany and france because the uk is leaving. they will then attend a summit with the rest of the leaders of the eu nation to figure outey go forward. when you look at markets, the german stock index, they call it the dax, it is down almost 10%. it is selling off. the german bonds, the bund it is called has hit record lows. it is not good for the economic growth of germany and the eu. >> we are hearing reports that boris johnson is leavin

you have leaders in brussels trying to figure that out and that's where we find adam shapiro. what's the plan? >> reporter: they don't have a plan, they're going to meet again, september 16th to figure out the future of the eu. if you recall, you were asking me a series of questions last week about the role that immigration and the million plus muslim immigrants who have gone to germany and also to the uk. what role immigration played in the brexit, and even here in brussels, eu leaders are acknowledging that citizens had enough and fed up from the statement. they said many people expressed dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs be at at the european international level. europeans expect to do better when it comes to providing security, jobs and growth for the future. they offered no plan for the future today. they assured everybody they will do nothing until september. then there was donald tusk. the president of the eu council. there is the talk of getting the uk out as quickly as possible. here's what he had to say. >> we also discussed the fact that too many peo

adam shapiro standing by with the latest details. what came out of this appearance today, adam?rter: additional charges on conspiracy, nothing to do -- this is not related in any way to shkreli raising the price from $13.50 to $750, it was a 5,000% increase. that was totally legal. people call it reprehensible, he had to testify before congress, but none of that was illegal. he's in court on this additional charge in the seven original conspiracy to commit securities fraud charges based on his tenure when he was ceo at another pharmaceutical company. now, without getting too much into the weeds on this, the board of directors forced him out. there's a civil suit. he's been accused of fraud, inappropriately using funds to pay off people who invested in a separate hedge fund that went bust, and that would, of course, be illegal if the prosecution can prove it. so he pled not guilty to the additional charge of conspiracy to commit securities fraud. he'll be back here july 14th, 1 p.m. the judge wants both prosecutors as well as defense attorneys to set a trial date which could come

a lot of leftist protesting ben shapiro coming to campus. there's this trend of organizing that's very aggressive. it's almost like you can't get a word in. being courageous and being respectful is almost not an option, because you're being attacked. how do we compose our selves and win on campus when we're fighting an uphill battle? do we fight dirty like them? >> no is one answer. >> let me -- this is -- on the specifics should we, there is a near riot in the auditorium, should we shout back, i don't want to speak to a specific circumstance but this is a helpful thing to think about. when i work for concerned women for america, we had a great media person, rebecca halen, who said to me -- the way i would encounter this, i would be doing a debate. there would ab big audience and the guy would be screaming and yelling and saying dumb things and i couldn't get a word in edgewise. she said to me do not think everybody is agreeing with the screaming people. there's a lot of people who don't quite know what to think and they are willing to liste
