i used to be really scared of sharks. every time i'd swim in the ocean, i was convinced there were sharks lurking there, watching me, waiting to attack me. not too long ago on an assignment for "60 minutes," i went scuba diving with great white sharks. i went without a cage. that's me with the great white sharks there. i had about a half dozen great white sharks circling around me, and i was scared. i was fearful, rightfully so. what was so amazing about that experience, doing that totally changed my perception of sharks and i no longer have this irrational fear of them. i don't think they're warm and cuddly, but i no longer believe they're out to get me. there are two things, however, that sadly i am still afraid of in my life. bugs and heights. and i know it's ridiculous. i go to war zones. i've been shot at. i've had people attack me. bugs, especially bugs with lots of little legs, for some reason creep me out. and also heights. in just a couple of minutes, i'm going to confront my own fear of heights. i didn't want to
