sharon harvey says they got the call from the humane society of the united states. cresting there are animals in shelters that are at reask and animals in homes at risk and the local shelters are trying to help. >> reporter: more than a dozen dogs from the flooded region that are waiting to be adopted before the storm hit will soon call cleveland home so that the south carolina shelter can make room for displaced animals affected by matthew. >> when animals and people are facing this kind of catastrophic devastation, we is certainly want to be mind. >> helping in a time of need and hoping the future pet owners also step up to help find other dogs homes. >> we hope the people will come and adopt and not only help us with these animals that are coming in as a result of the devastation, but the animals we have here every single day that are waiting for homes. >> the dogs will be vaccinated adopt other animals in the shelter. the animals should be back in the cleveland area just after midnight. >> romona: toyota is recalling 340,000 2016 and 2017 prius vehicles because
