sharon chin introduces us to the shining star who stole the show. >> reporter: 13-year-old quintavious johnson has become a singing sensation. fresh from thrilling a crowd at the bears lions matchup. ♪ oh say can you see ... ♪ >> before i sing, i pray. and then i just get into the zonement i just like, when i get into the zone, i'm hyper and people don't understand it. but i get really excited and bounces off the walls. i'm just overwhelmed, overjoyed, thankful. it is just a blessing. >> reporter: his mother yolanda is booked up through april. she says he always sang all the time. he started performing at their franklin, tennessee sports at age two. >> he was singing on the football field. i thought maybe sports is not your thing. >> reporter: today yolanda home schools the seventh grader between gigs. she lost her job in customer service while he competed and placed fifth in tv's america's got talent. ♪ oh hear the angels voices >> reporter: despite his sudden stardom, quintavious is humble. just a kid who still loves santa. ♪ and this will be a very special christmas ♪ >> reporter: sharon ch
