hi, cecily. >> hi, sharrie.'s definitely on the cool side. it's not raining but we do have plenty of clouds. our high so far only 64 degrees. the last time a memorial day we were stuck in the 60's was back in 2004 and this is 14 degrees below our normal high and memorial day we can have some fast swings in temperatures. four of the last 12 memorial days temperatures were in the 90's. we were actually complaining it was too hot. there is much warmer air not too far away from us. central pennsylvania, washington, d.c., temperatures are in the 80's, richmond 86. there's a front just to the south and that has that warm air. farther up to the north, though, new york city quite a bit cooler than we are, only 57 degrees. the reason why? we've got this cool air, it's an easterly flow. satellite and radar showing after a few morning showers, we're dry but we have that persistent easterly flow off the ocean pulling in the moisture in the form of clouds, pulling in that cool air and that will be with us through the evening
