"ellinwood" walked into the police department said she was wanted... and showed an officer the news release about the robbery. before turning herself in... officials say ellinwood was hiding out in her condo. it's in a retirement community just 5 miles away. for a lawyer.

good morning, thanks, shayla. new this investigators are looking into what they are calling a suspicious death at moffitt cancer center. according to the tampa bay times, investigators want to know what medications were prescribed to a 65-year-old man before he died earlier this month. the records are being sought as a part of a criminal investigation into "hermon biddines" death. they also want to know his medical history between november 1 and november 7. moffit says it is cooperating with authorities. a massive crime ring in hillsborough county has in all, 46 cars were stolen in hillsborough county. all of them had the doors unlocked ?with the keys inside. deputies have arrested 14 people for stealing the cars over the last two months in the southern part of the county. according to deputies, the thieves went car- hopping... pulling on locks until they found unlocked cars. nearly all of the cars were recovered near where they were stolen... but two were found smashed up in clearwater. the 14 people arrested hav

lets go live to fox 13's shayla reaves , outside raymond james stadium... with more. a driver is dead... and a female passenger is in their car fell 70 feet off the side of the interstate! it happened last night on i-275 in pinellas county. state troopers say the dodge durango was exiting off southbound 275 onto i-175 near tropicana field when the driver lost control. they say he hit the concrete barrier and went right over it. the s-u-v landed upside down on the ground. a scary few moments in sarasota county, when a s-u-v crashed into the side of a business. it actually stopped in the group of tables. it happened sunday morning near the intersection of main and u-s 301. luckily, no one was sitting at the table... and no one was hurt. however... a gas line was hit and had to be fixed. sarasota police say they ticketed the driver. investigators in st. pete now say a police officer is to? blame for a crash involving her cruiser... on i- 275. it happened saturday night just north of 38th avenue north. state troopers say the officer was traveling with her lights and siren

shayla, fox 13 news. >>> all right thank you. seen a way to help middle managers lower middle class allowing them to begin earning overtime. new regulation was supposed to raise the threshold in which salary employees would qualify. now it's all on hold jen epstein is here now with more on thp good morning, jen. that's right obama administration created a regulation forcing companies to stopped the new rule from going into effect. here's the law now. anyone who is on salary making more than $23,000 a year and makes managerial decision is exempt from overtime. so they could work 50, 60 even 70 hours a week. and still only make their regular salary. so with the new regulation, which would have develop into effect december 1st would have upped that salary threshold to $47,000. >> allowing some 4 million overtime money. when president obama signs new regulation, businesses and trade groups fought it. those groups were a joined by 21 states and sued. they argued this would increase labor costs making it difficult for small businesses.

fox13's shayla reaves is live off of i-4 this morning. thanks, shayla. a south florida man is recovering this morning... after being bit by an alligator. it happened while krit kruchiyan was on a duck hunt in the everglades last friday. the 50-year-old and his water at holey land wildlife management area in palm beach county. he says he brushed up against something... which at first he thought was a log. but seconds later... an 8 to 10-foot alligator sunk its teeth into krit's left thigh. but he wasn't finished... 2 off-duty firefighters heard the attack and rushed into help. they cut off krit's waders and used them as a turniquet. he was then airlifted to a hospital... and immediately underwent surgery. krit was released 2 days later... doctors say he should make a full recovery in about a month. some of you in our southern counties could be paying more for electricity next year. state regulators have just approved a rate hike for florida power and light. the 800-million-dollar the state's largest electric utility. the company initially wanted a billion
