(walter - while you were sleeping: a tense situation in south tampa. just after three a-m, emergency crews responded to a fire call on bay to bay and south manhattan aven arrived, smoke was coming from a second story window. as they were climbing up the side of the building, a man appeared and tried to attack them with a hammer... and block their entry. police were able to get inside, baker-act the man and firefighters put out the fire. they believe the man started the fire inside his apartment, but haven't said why. (vanessa) in sarasota... a mother and father are now facing charges... after police say: they let their kids live conditions.
