i'm joined by michael sheehan a terrorism analyst for msnbc. a gd saturday morning to you. >> good morning, alex. >> if we talk about this threat which is unconfirmed. so talk about its credibility? >> it's becoming more and more specific even though we don't have the names of these three individuals, now we're hearing two may be carrying u.s. passports and their travel routes. it's specific, the source of the information is very credible. normally intelligence officials like to have a corroborating stream of information in order to rach it up farther. this is worrisome. but everything's going to proceed as normal we hope up in new york city and in washington on september 11th. >> absolutely. let's talk about some of what this informant tells us. three men have traveled from pakistan to the u.s. to set off car or truck bombs in new york or washington. some guys may be u.s. citizens or have some u.s. travel documents. secretary clinton says the plot is unconfirmed. how high is the bar for reporting threats like these to the public? >> well, if y
