let's talk to first alert weather center and meteorologist sheena par convenient tracking the storms for us. >> yeah, jim, a couple of severe thunderstorms through parts of the lehigh valley. if you look at the radar, most are going through the lehigh valley and parts of burks county and that's where you see the yellow shaded area, and that's a severe thunderstorm warning. we'll zoom in right now with one thunderstorm into lower parts of montgomery county and burks count knee the lehigh valley into the poconos, that's a severe thunderstorm warning until 4:45. a lot of lightning and heavy rain. could see winds near 60 miles per hour. heavy downpours could lead to localized flooding and the possibility for some hail. now, as far as lightning strikes are concerned, in the past 15 minutes alone we've seen 716 lightning strikes. this storm is going to move straight east so over carbon and monroe counties currently and through the lehigh valley and whitehall township seeing very heavy rain from it. aside from that the entire area is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 8:00 tonight. if

sheena, what's the latest? >> we saw the showers around.arting to lighten up for the most part depending where you are. in new jersey and delaware, you're seeing the rain lighten up. if you're in lancaster county, you're seeing a thunderstorm developing. it's not moving too much, though. in sussex, storms in southern parts of the county, closer to the maryland line. most of sussex county up near georgetown, seaford, ridgeford seeing improvements from earlier today. the heavy rain is just to the south. the beaches seeing the steady light rain. rest of delaware clearing out from the heavy rain earlier. south jersey clearing out from the lighter rainfall that moved in. the philadelphia area still seeing some spotty light showers that extends up the major interstates i-95, up to trenton and lower bucks county. montgomery and bucks county, still dealing with the lighter rainfall. some heavier spots around milford across 476 and through the lehigh valley. they're kind of breaking up in nature. berks county did have a flood advisory that just got
